Arctic Glacier Lace Front Braided Wig - [Style Guide]

Posted by Ray S on

Pixistics' Arctic Glacier Braided Wig is a gorgeous combination of crème white, sky blue, and admiral blue. Bringing a chill to the gaze of passerby's, perhaps you too are froze?

Let me tell you a little bit about her!

Arctic Glacier was made after a crochet braid install I did for my Ice King Cosplay (you can see that here)

I loved the braids so much that I decided to not only repurpose them, but make them a staple in my wardrobe forever by turning them into a lace front wig!

So you might be wondering,

"Well what other than Ice King will you wear these braids for?"

Let me be honest and upfront with you, for the longest time I had trouble styling my ultra colorful wigs with my lame everyday outfits!

It got to the point where I got fed up with looking drab when my hair was super fab!

So I created this style guide for you, or maybe just for me lol, to find inspiration within the colors and branch into something new!

When it comes to braided colored wigs it can be difficult to style your makeup and clothing around it's vibrancy.

To be quite honest, before I started diving deeper into makeup you better believe I was looking crazy with a bare face, colorful wig, and a track suit! *cringe*

I don't want this to be you!

So below I've rounded up some ideas to help you coordinate around the amazing colors featured in Pixistics Arctic Glacier Lace Front Braided Wig.

Complimenting the colors in your hair does not have to be a scary experience. With multi-colored hair it's almost a necessity to pile on MORE color!

Don't be afraid to mix it up and take some risks! The riskier the better, as I like to say!

Arctic Glacier has multiple colors you can play off of. The blue variations open up for yellows, golds, reds, and oranges to compliment them while the egg white roots allow purples and blues to boost it's softness.

Now let's make this applicable! My style personally is a little more pastel grungy goth Barbie! (What the heck is that you ask? Click here for my Pinterest outfit inspos.)

In this guide I'm going to provide three looks I'd honest to goodness wear out on the town in combination with Pixistics Arctic Glacier Lace Front Braided Wig.

So lets get started!

 Angelcore Euphoria

The soft blues and golden tones of this look really help showcase the hair in a delicate and angelic manner.

Of course a pop of pink never hurts when you are unquestionably "Baby"!

Ya I do Sports

I absolutely love this sporty glam look! The blues, reds, and yellows make for a flamboyant yet vampy look.

Candy apple red is my personal favorite red tone that pairs nicely with Arctic Glacier.

 Busy Doing Business

I'm not gonna lie. I'm still a fan of sneakers and two piece business suits!

Periwinkle purple is not something you'd probably usually go for with a wig that has so much blue!

But I think if the make up look has various shades of purple with hints of blue, there is no reason the colors shouldn't compliment on another.
